Description

I needed an Ha target after my main target set around 12:00 the past couple of days. The Moon has been full, and the Boogeyman is quite close to the Moon, but it was the best choice. While I feel I can shoot Ha during a bright Moon, to really get the smooth and deep Ha emissions I really need a dark sky--even for Ha. Anyway--I collected 54 300 sec subs and still the noise and roughness were present. I decided to see if adding previously collected data with the FSQ 106 would smooth things out. So I found my linear stack of 103 300 sec subs and aligned it to this stack of 54 300 sec subs. Then I integrated them togther for a stand alone Ha image of about 13 hours. I feel it could use more time--dark sky time. a few hours with no Moon would fill in the irrgularities I think
